Detailed Fee Breakdown

Tuition Fee: This is the primary component of the fee structure, covering instruction and administrative costs. It remains constant throughout the program.

Hostel Rent: Students are provided with hostel accommodation within the university campus. The rent varies based on room type (single, double, triple sharing) and includes utilities.

Mess Advance: A fixed advance payment is collected for mess charges, covering meals for a month. This amount is adjusted at the end of each month based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee is collected to support students in need and fund extracurricular activities.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services, including consultations and emergency care.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports the maintenance of sports facilities and extracurricular activities.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting examinations and evaluating student performance.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers various types of hostels for students:

  • Single Sharing Room: INR 60,000 per semester
  • Double Sharing Room: INR 50,000 per semester
  • Triple Sharing Room: INR 40,000 per semester

The mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed per day. Students receive a monthly advance payment that is adjusted at the end of each month.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several financial aid options are available to eligible students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Concession: 50% waiver on tuition fee for SC/ST/PwD candidates
  • EWS Concession: 25% waiver on tuition fee for EWS candidates
  • MCM (Meritorious Candidate Merit): 100% waiver on tuition fee for top rank holders in JEE Advanced

Students must submit relevant documents to avail these concessions. The application process is handled through the university portal, and approvals are granted after verification.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day until the dues are cleared.

In case of withdrawal from the program, students must submit a formal request along with supporting documents. Refunds are processed according to the university's refund policy, which typically deducts administrative charges and applicable fees before issuing the balance amount.
