Counseling Process

The JoSAA/CSAB counseling process involves multiple rounds of seat allocation based on merit and preferences. Each round begins with the release of rank lists followed by online registration, preference filling, and seat allocation.

Students must register for the counseling process using their JoSAA application number and password. They then fill out preferences in order of priority for available seats across different participating institutes.

Seat allocation occurs through a centralized computer system that matches student ranks with available seats based on merit, category, and preference choices. The process is highly competitive, especially for top-tier institutions like AUG College.

After seat allocation, students must confirm their admission by paying the required fees within the specified deadline. Failure to do so results in forfeiture of the allocated seat.
