Fee Components

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, course materials, and access to library and laboratory facilities. It is paid per semester.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in air-conditioned rooms with shared bathrooms. Different room types are available: Single Occupancy (12,000 INR/month), Double Occupancy (8,000 INR/month), Triple Occupancy (6,000 INR/month).

Mess Advance: A one-time advance payment for meals during the semester. The mess billing system includes daily meal charges, which are deducted from the advance amount.

Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services and emergency medical assistance on campus.

Gymkhana Fees: Provides access to sports facilities, fitness centers, and recreational activities.

Examination Fees: Covers examination administration, grading, and certificate issuance.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Hostels at Birla Institute of Management Technology offer single, double, and triple occupancy rooms with modern amenities. The mess charges are inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rebates are available for students staying in hostels for the entire academic year.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for students belonging to these categories with income below 2 lakhs per annum.
  • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for students with family income between 2-5 lakhs per annum.
  • MCM Category: 25% fee concession for meritorious children of single mothers with income below 1 lakh per annum.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
