1. Merit-Based Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria:
Medical and Dental Undergraduate Students:
Top 25% performers in the first-year examination conducted by the Vidyapeeth.
Should not be availing any other scholarship schemes.
Undergraduate Students in Other Faculties (Physiotherapy, Nursing, Ayurved, Homoeopathy, Optometry, Biotechnology, and Management):
Top 30% performers in the first-year examination conducted by the Vidyapeeth.
Should not be availing any other scholarship schemes.
Scholarship Amounts:
MBBS and BDS: ₹4,000 per annum.
BPT, B.Sc. Nursing, BAMS, BHMS, B.Optom, BBT, BBA: ₹3,000 per annum.
Note: The scholarship amount is credited directly to the student's bank account and is not adjustable against tuition or other fees.
2. DPU Merit Scholarship for BBA Students
Eligibility Criteria:
Students who rank in the top 30% of their class in the first-year examination conducted by the Vidyapeeth.
Must maintain a good academic record.
Should not be availing any other scholarship schemes.
Scholarship Amount:
₹3,000 per month.
Note: The scholarship is subject to withdrawal if the student performs poorly academically or fails two consecutive years of exams.
3. Government Scholarships and Reservations
Eligibility Criteria:
Students belonging to SC, ST, OBC, VJNT, SBC, EBC, Minority, and Ex-Servicemen categories.
Income criteria vary based on the category and scholarship type.
Scholarship Details:
SC/ST Students: Scholarships and freeships available with income limits as per government norms.
OBC/SBC/VJNT Students: Scholarships and freeships available with income limits as per government norms.
EBC Students: Scholarships available for students with family income up to ₹8,00,000.
Minority Students: Scholarships available with income limits as per government norms.

4. Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Fellowships
Doctoral Fellowship:
Eligibility: Candidates selected for full-time Ph.D. programs in Health Sciences, Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, and Management.
Fellowship Amount: ₹15,000 per month.
Post-Doctoral Fellowship:
Eligibility: Ph.D. degree holders with at least two publications in indexed journals with an impact factor greater than 1.
Fellowship Amount: ₹25,000 per month.
Note: Candidates must apply in the prescribed format and meet the eligibility criteria to be considered for these fellowships.
5. Research Awards for Faculty Members
Award Categories:
Research Award: ₹40,000.
Dr. P. D. Patil Young Researcher Award: ₹20,000.
Consistent Performance Award: ₹20,000.
Innovative Teaching Award: ₹20,000.
Eligibility Criteria:
Faculty members holding the post of Lecturer/Assistant Professor and above in constituent colleges/institutions.
Specific criteria based on publications, research grants, citations, patents, and teaching innovations.
Note: A committee scrutinizes applications based on predefined criteria, and awards are given to encourage teaching and research activities.

Available Scholarships:
AICTE Pragati & Saksham Scholarships: For female students and differently-abled students pursuing technical education.
State Government Scholarships: Various scholarships based on domicile, category, and income criteria.
