Institute-Wide Scholarships
ISM IIIT offers several institute-wide scholarships to support deserving students:
- MCM Scholarship: Named after the founder, this scholarship provides full or partial fee waivers based on academic merit and financial need.
- Merit-Based Merit Scholarships: Awarded annually to top-performing students in each semester based on GPA and performance in assignments.
- Need-Based Scholarships: Designed for economically disadvantaged students, these scholarships cover tuition fees and provide monthly allowances.
Alumni and Donor Scholarships
A number of alumni and donors have established scholarships specifically for students in the Information Technology program:
- Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Alumni Foundation Scholarship: For students demonstrating exceptional academic performance and leadership qualities.
- Technology Innovation Fund (TIF) Scholarship: Supports students working on innovative projects or startups in collaboration with the institute's incubation center.
- Rajendra Kumar Memorial Scholarship: Named after a distinguished faculty member, this scholarship supports students pursuing research in AI and machine learning.

- Google India Fellowship Program: Supports graduate students working on research projects in AI, machine learning, or data science.

Application Process
The application process for all scholarships is conducted online through the institute's portal. Students must submit required documents including:
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Income certificate
- Academic transcripts
- Research proposal or project report (for research-focused scholarships)
- Recommendation letters from faculty members
Applications are reviewed by a committee comprising faculty members and administrative staff. Selected students receive notifications via email and are informed about disbursement schedules.
