Hostel & Mess Charges
Era University Lucknow provides comfortable accommodation options for students in different hostel types including single, double, triple, and quad occupancy rooms. Hostel charges vary based on room type and amenities provided.
The mess billing system operates monthly, with advance payments required at the beginning of each month. Students can choose between vegetarian or non-vegetarian meals depending on their preferences. Additional charges apply for special dietary requirements or late meal orders.
Rebate policies are available for students who take breaks during examinations or during holidays. These rebates are calculated proportionally based on the number of days absent from the hostel.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various financial assistance schemes including scholarships, fee waivers, and concessions for students belonging to SC/ST/PwD, EWS, and MCM categories. Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs, family background, and academic performance.
For instance, students from SC/ST/PwD categories receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees if their annual income is below ₹2 lakh. Similarly, EWS students with an income below ₹3 lakh qualify for partial fee concessions.
Merit-based scholarships are awarded to top-performing students in each semester based on CGPA and overall academic excellence. These scholarships can cover up to 50% of the total annual fees.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments for tuition fees and other charges must be made via online modes including net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI transfers. Late payments incur a penalty fee of ₹100 per day beyond the due date.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of submission of withdrawal forms. The refund amount is calculated after deducting applicable charges such as processing fees and late penalties. Withdrawal requests submitted before the start of a semester result in full refunds, while those submitted mid-semester attract proportional deductions.
