Fee Structure Overview

The total fee for the Biotechnology program at Geetanjali University Udaipur is Rs 350,000 for four years. This includes all components of tuition, hostel, mess, and other mandatory fees.

Detailed Fee Components

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, academic resources, laboratory access, and administrative services. The fee is divided into two semesters, with Rs 60,000 paid per semester.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in a fully furnished room with basic amenities such as bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and Wi-Fi. Single occupancy rooms are available at an additional cost.

Mess Advance: Covers monthly food expenses, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner for 30 days. Monthly mess bills are adjusted based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies.

Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services provided by the university's health center, including consultations and minor treatments.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports facilities, and cultural events on campus.

Examination Fees: Paid per semester for conducting internal and external examinations, including evaluation and result processing.

Other Charges: Includes one-time registration fees, library charges, and miscellaneous expenses.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers both single and double occupancy rooms in its hostels. Single rooms cost an extra Rs 20,000 per year compared to shared rooms. All rooms come with essential furniture and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Mess charges are collected as a monthly advance of Rs 50,000, covering three meals per day for 30 days. Students are billed monthly based on actual consumption, with adjustments made at the end of each month.

Rebate policies allow students who leave campus during weekends or holidays to receive partial refunds on their mess charges. Students must submit applications in advance for such rebates.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several categories are eligible for fee waivers and concessions based on income slabs:

• SC/ST/PwD: 100% waiver on tuition fees and 50% discount on hostel charges.
• EWS: 50% waiver on tuition fees and 25% discount on hostel charges.
• MCM: 50% waiver on tuition fees and 25% discount on hostel charges.

Scholarships are available for meritorious students scoring above 90% in qualifying exams. These include full or partial fee waivers, depending on the merit level and category.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Fees can be paid online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI apps. Offline payments are accepted through demand drafts or banker's cheques issued in favor of Geetanjali University Udaipur.

Late payment fees of Rs 1000 per month apply after the deadline set by the university. Students must adhere to strict deadlines to avoid penalties and ensure uninterrupted academic progress.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies are applied based on the duration of study. Refunds are processed within 30 days after submission of necessary documents and approval from the administrative committee.
