Detailed Fee Components

Each component of the fee structure is designed to support different aspects of student life and education:

  • Tuition Fee: Covers academic instruction, laboratory facilities, library access, and administrative costs associated with running the program.
  • Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus-hostels with amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, security, and maintenance.
  • Mess Advance: Covers meals provided through on-campus dining facilities, ensuring nutritious and hygienic food for students.
  • Student Benevolent Fund: Supports financial assistance to students facing emergencies or exceptional circumstances.
  • Medical Fees: Provides access to basic healthcare services, including consultations, vaccinations, and emergency medical aid on campus.
  • Gymkhana Fees: Funds sports activities, fitness programs, recreational facilities, and cultural events organized by student councils.
  • Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting semester examinations, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

IIPHG offers several hostel options to accommodate students from diverse backgrounds:

  • Single Room Hostel: ₹60,000 per semester for a private room with attached bathroom facilities.
  • Double Room Hostel: ₹55,000 per semester for shared accommodation with common bathrooms and study spaces.
  • Triple Room Hostel: ₹50,000 per semester for triple occupancy rooms with shared amenities.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with students pre-paying for meals. There are rebate policies available for students who do not consume meals regularly or for those facing financial hardship.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

IIPHG is committed to ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder access to quality education. Various fee waiver schemes are available based on income criteria:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% concession in tuition fees and hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: Students from economically weaker sections receive a 50% concession in tuition fees and hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community): A 25% reduction in fees is provided for eligible students.

Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The selection committee evaluates applications based on the provided evidence and ensures timely processing.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students are required to make payments before the start of each semester. Late fees are charged at 2% per month for overdue payments beyond the deadline.

The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program before completing the academic year. Refunds are processed after deducting administrative charges and any outstanding dues. Students must submit a formal application along with necessary documentation to initiate the refund process.
