Institute Of Advanced Research Gandhinagar recognizes the importance of financial support for students from diverse backgrounds. The Institute offers a range of scholarships to ensure that talented students can pursue their education without financial constraints.
Institute-Wide Scholarships
The Institute provides several merit-based and need-based scholarships to deserving students. These include the Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholarship, which supports students with exceptional academic performance and financial need.
Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholarship
The MCM Scholarship is awarded based on a combination of academic excellence and economic background. Students who score above 90% in their qualifying examination and belong to economically disadvantaged families are eligible for this scholarship, which covers up to 100% of tuition fees.
Donor/Alumni Scholarships
The Institute also benefits from generous donations from alumni and corporate sponsors, who have established several targeted scholarships for students in specific fields or categories.
Alumni Foundation Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the Institute’s alumni network and supports students pursuing research in emerging technologies. It covers tuition fees, hostel charges, and a monthly stipend of 10,000 INR for four years.
Corporate Partner Scholarships
Several corporate partners have set up scholarships specifically for IAR students. For example, the NVIDIA Scholarship supports students working on AI and machine learning projects, while the Google India Scholarship provides funding for undergraduate research in computer science.
