Institute-Wide Scholarships

These scholarships are awarded based on merit and financial need:

MCM Scholarship (Merit-Cum-Means)

This scholarship is designed for meritorious students with financial constraints. It covers up to 50% of the total fees for one year.

• Eligibility: Students scoring above 80% in qualifying examination
• Amount: Up to 1,35,000 INR annually
• Application Deadline: June 30th each year

IBT Merit Scholarship

Awards are given to students with exceptional academic performance in their qualifying exams.

• Eligibility: Top 10% of students in qualifying exam
• Amount: 1,00,000 INR annually
• Application Deadline: July 31st each year

Alumni & Donor Scholarships

Several alumni and donors have established scholarships specifically for students in IBT:

Rajendran Memorial Scholarship

Established by the Rajendran family, this scholarship supports students pursuing business analytics.

• Eligibility: Students with a minimum CGPA of 8.0
• Amount: 75,000 INR annually
• Application Deadline: August 15th each year

Suresh Foundation Scholarship

Named after Dr. Suresh, this scholarship supports students in financial management and economics.

• Eligibility: Students with a CGPA of 7.5 or above
• Amount: 60,000 INR annually

Priya Sharma Excellence Award

This award recognizes outstanding performance in data science and analytics.

Lakshmi Leadership Grant

This grant supports students interested in human resource development and leadership.

• Eligibility: Students demonstrating leadership qualities

Ramesh Entrepreneurship Initiative

Awarded to students showing potential for entrepreneurship and innovation.

• Eligibility: Active involvement in startup projects or incubation programs
• Amount: 50,000 INR annually

Government & Corporate Scholarships

Students can also apply for external scholarships provided by government bodies and corporations:

Scholarship for SC/ST Students (UGC)

Provided by the University Grants Commission for students from scheduled castes and tribes.

• Eligibility: Students belonging to SC/ST categories
• Amount: 20,000 INR annually
• Application Deadline: March 31st each year

Merit Scholarships for Girls (Ministry of Women & Child Development)

Awarded to female students with excellent academic performance.

• Eligibility: Female students scoring above 85% in qualifying exams
• Amount: 25,000 INR annually

Infosys Foundation Scholarship

Offered by Infosys for students with outstanding academic records.

• Eligibility: Students with a CGPA of 8.0 or above
• Amount: 1,00,000 INR annually
• Application Deadline: May 31st each year

Cognizant Scholarships

For students excelling in technology and computer science disciplines.

• Eligibility: Students with a CGPA of 7.5 or above
• Amount: 1,20,000 INR annually
• Application Deadline: June 30th each year

Microsoft India Scholarships

Designed for students with interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

• Eligibility: Students enrolled in relevant programs
• Amount: 1,50,000 INR annually
• Application Deadline: July 31st each year
