Institute-Wide Scholarships
KIMS offers several scholarships to deserving students based on merit and financial need. These include the MCM (Merit Cum Means) Scholarship, which covers up to 50% of tuition fees for top-performing students.
Donor & Alumni Scholarships
Several alumni and donors have established specific scholarships for students in the MBA program:
- The Dr. R. Srinivasan Memorial Scholarship – For students with exceptional academic performance in their undergraduate studies.
- The Priya Nair Excellence Award – For students excelling in entrepreneurship and innovation.
- The Vijay Raghavan Leadership Grant – For students demonstrating leadership potential and community service.
- The Arvind Kumar Financial Aid – For economically disadvantaged students pursuing the Finance specialization.

Government & Corporate Scholarships
Students can also apply for external scholarships offered by government bodies and corporate organizations:
- Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme – Available to SC/ST students with a 50% or more marks in their undergraduate studies.
- Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) – Offers training grants for skill development and entrepreneurship.
- Microsoft India Scholarship Program – For students pursuing computer science and data analytics.
- Google India Fellowship – For students interested in AI, machine learning, and digital innovation.
- IBM SkillsBuild – Provides free access to online courses and certifications for students.
Application Process
Applications for scholarships are submitted through the institute’s portal. Students must provide documentation such as mark sheets, income certificates, and recommendation letters. The selection committee evaluates applications based on academic performance, financial need, and extracurricular activities.
For donor-specific scholarships, students must also submit a detailed personal statement outlining their goals and how the scholarship will support their journey.
