In recent years, there has been growing interest in healthcare software companies and digital health platforms. Graduates are increasingly employed in roles such as Clinical Data Manager, Health Informatics Specialist, and Product Manager in companies like Cerner, Medscape, and HealthTap.
Some graduates transition into roles involving medical device design, healthcare system engineering, or biomedical research, where their nursing background provides unique insights into user needs and clinical workflows.
Nursing professionals with strong analytical skills often find opportunities in health finance consulting firms, insurance companies, and government agencies focused on healthcare budgeting and resource allocation.
Graduates from our program are well-suited for roles in healthcare consulting firms that advise hospitals, clinics, and public health organizations on operational improvements, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.
With increasing emphasis on data-driven healthcare, there is growing demand for nurses who can interpret patient outcomes, analyze disease trends, and develop predictive models to improve care delivery.
Public sector undertakings like the Central Public Health Department and various state health ministries regularly recruit nursing professionals for roles in public health planning, program implementation, and community health initiatives.
The internship season begins in the third year of the program, with students spending 6-8 weeks at affiliated hospitals and healthcare institutions. Internships are structured to provide exposure to different departments such as ICU, Emergency Room, Maternal & Child Health, Mental Health, and Community Outreach.
Key companies participating in the internship program include Fortis, Apollo, Max Healthcare, Medanta, and AIIMS. Stipends range from ₹20,000 to ₹40,000 per month depending on the location and type of organization.
Students are evaluated based on performance during the internship period, including clinical competence, professionalism, communication skills, and adherence to hospital protocols. Successful interns often receive job offers or PPOs (Pre-Placement Offers) from their host institutions.
