Overview of Scholarships
Manav Rachna University is committed to providing financial support to meritorious students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. The university offers a wide range of scholarships, including merit-based, need-based, and special category awards designed to ensure that quality education remains accessible to all deserving students.
Institute-Wide Scholarships
These scholarships are funded by the university itself and are available to students who meet specific academic criteria or show exceptional promise in their chosen field of study.
Merit Scholarship
The Merit Scholarship is awarded to students who rank in the top 10% of their class. It covers up to 50% of tuition fees for one year and can be renewed annually based on performance.
Performance-Based Fellowship
This fellowship is offered to students with a cumulative GPA of 9.0 or above. It provides full coverage of tuition fees and a monthly stipend of 10,000 INR for four years.
Special Category Scholarships
These scholarships are reserved for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds or those who have overcome significant challenges in their educational journey. They offer partial fee waivers ranging from 25% to 100%, depending on the severity of circumstances.
Donor/Alumni Scholarships
The university has established partnerships with several donors and alumni who contribute regularly to scholarship funds. These scholarships are awarded based on merit, community service, or specific interests such as leadership, innovation, or social responsibility.
Dr. Manav Rachna Scholarship Fund
This fund, established by the founder of the university, supports students pursuing engineering and technology degrees. It provides financial assistance ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 INR annually, with priority given to those from rural areas.
Alumni Achievement Award
This award recognizes outstanding contributions by alumni in their respective fields. Recipients receive a one-time grant of 100,000 INR, which can be used for education or research purposes.
Corporate Partnership Grants
Several corporate entities have partnered with the university to provide scholarships to deserving students. These grants are typically awarded based on academic performance and involvement in extracurricular activities.
Government and External Scholarships
Students are encouraged to apply for external scholarships that are available through government agencies, private foundations, and international organizations.
Central Sector Scholarship Scheme (CSSS)
This scheme is administered by the Ministry of Human Resource Development and provides financial assistance to students from SC/ST communities. It covers tuition fees, books, and other educational expenses.

Application Process
The application process for scholarships varies depending on the type of award. Generally, applicants must submit the following documents:
