Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges for the semester. The mess operates on a monthly billing system with adjustments based on consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies during their academic journey.
Medical Fees: Covers medical consultations, basic treatments, and access to the university health center.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports facilities, and cultural events on campus.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university provides accommodation in three types of hostels:
- Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹25,000/month
- Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹20,000/month
- Triple Occupancy Rooms: ₹15,000/month
The mess operates on a monthly billing system with various meal plans available:
- Standard Plan: ₹10,000/month
- Premium Plan: ₹12,000/month
- Veg Plan: ₹8,000/month
Rebate policies apply to students who stay for the entire semester or those with special circumstances. Additional charges may apply for late payments or room upgrades.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several financial assistance options to deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fee and 50% discount on hostel rent.
- EWS Category: 75% waiver on tuition fee and 25% discount on hostel rent.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): 50% waiver on tuition fee and 10% discount on hostel rent.
Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs and caste certificates. Applications for these benefits must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made online via net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI. Deadlines for payment are strictly enforced:
- Deadline: 10th of the month preceding the semester start.
- Late Fee: ₹500 per day after the deadline until full payment is received.
Refund policy applies in cases of withdrawal or transfer from the university. Refunds are processed within 60 days, subject to deduction of applicable charges and penalties.
