Scholarship Programs Overview
RSAJ offers a wide range of scholarship opportunities to support deserving students financially. These scholarships are categorized into institute-wide programs, donor-specific initiatives, and external funding sources.
Institute-Wide Scholarships
The following scholarships are offered directly by the institution:
- MCM Scholarship: Awarded to meritorious students based on academic performance. Amount: INR 50,000 per annum.
- Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship: For students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds who maintain high grades. Amount: INR 25,000 per annum.
- Women Empowerment Scholarship: Specifically for female students pursuing architecture. Amount: INR 30,000 per annum.
Donor/Alumni Scholarships
Several alumni and donors have established scholarships specifically for students of the architecture department:
- Rajasthan Government Scholarship: For students from rural areas. Amount: INR 40,000 per annum.
- Gandhi Foundation Fellowship: For research-oriented students. Amount: INR 60,000 per annum.
- Heritage Conservation Grant: For students working on projects related to heritage conservation. Amount: INR 35,000 per annum.
- Urban Planning Initiative Fund: For students studying urban development. Amount: INR 45,000 per annum.
- Design Innovation Award: For students with innovative design ideas. Amount: INR 50,000 per annum.
External Scholarships
In addition to internal funding, students can also apply for government and corporate scholarships:
- UGC Merit Scholarship: For outstanding students from SC/ST categories. Amount: INR 100,000 per annum.
- CSIR Research Fellowship: For students pursuing research in sustainable architecture. Amount: INR 75,000 per annum.
- Google India Fellowship: For students interested in digital design and visualization. Amount: INR 80,000 per annum.
- Microsoft Research Award: For students engaged in computational design. Amount: INR 70,000 per annum.
- AWS Educate Grant: For students working on cloud-based architectural solutions. Amount: INR 65,000 per annum.
Application Process
The application process for scholarships involves:
- Filling out an online form with personal details and academic records
- Submitting required documents (income certificate, caste certificate, etc.)
- Appearing for a written test or interview if shortlisted
