Fee Components Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, access to academic resources, lab facilities, and administrative services.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus hostels with shared amenities like Wi-Fi, laundry, and maintenance.

Mess Advance: Advance payment for meals provided by the university's mess service, which operates on a monthly billing cycle.

Student Benevolent Fund: A fund used to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services and access to campus clinics.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports facilities, and extracurricular events on campus.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting mid-term and final examinations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university offers multiple room types including single occupancy, double occupancy, and triple occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and internet connectivity.

Mess charges are billed monthly and include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening snacks. Rebate policies are available for students residing in hostels who wish to opt out of meals during specific weeks or holidays.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial assistance is provided under various categories:

  • SC/ST/PwD: Full waiver of tuition fee with partial concession in hostel charges.
  • EWS: 50% reduction in tuition fees, 25% in hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% discount on all fees except tuition.

Eligibility is determined based on income slabs and caste certificates. Applications must be submitted during the admission process or within the first month of enrollment.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All payments must be made through online portals using debit cards, credit cards, NEFT, or UPI. Late fees are calculated at 5% per month beyond the deadline.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the university’s refund policy:

  • Withdrawal within 10 days: Full refund minus processing fee.
  • Withdrawal between 10-30 days: Refund of 80% after deduction of processing fee.
  • Withdrawal beyond 30 days: No refund is allowed unless the student is admitted to another university.
