Institute-Wide Scholarships
SIT offers several merit-based and need-based scholarships to support deserving students financially throughout their academic journey:
- MCM (Merit Cum Means) Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and financial need. It covers up to 100% of tuition fees for eligible candidates.
- President's Fellowship: Available to top performers in the first year, this fellowship provides full coverage of tuition fees and a monthly stipend of ₹25,000 for two years.
- Dean's Award for Excellence: Recognizes outstanding achievements in academics, research, or extracurricular activities with a cash prize of ₹100,000 annually.
- Student Leadership Development Grant: Supports students engaged in leadership roles within the campus, providing up to ₹50,000 per year for projects related to student welfare and development.
- Research Innovation Fund: Provides funding for undergraduate research projects with a maximum grant of ₹100,000 per project.
Donor/Alumni Scholarships

Application Process
Each scholarship program has its own application procedure and eligibility criteria. Generally, applicants must:
- Fill out an online application form available on the SIT website.
- Submit supporting documents such as academic transcripts, income certificates, identity proof, and recommendation letters.
- Participate in interviews or written tests conducted by the respective scholarship committees.
