Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel system at SHA SHIB COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY offers comfortable living arrangements with various room types. Each room is equipped with essential amenities including beds, wardrobes, study desks, and internet connectivity.

Mess charges are calculated based on the number of days students stay in the hostel and their consumption patterns. A detailed billing system ensures transparency and accuracy in charge collection.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they do not utilize the full mess allowance during certain months, such as during vacations or holidays.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The college offers several financial assistance programs for meritorious and economically disadvantaged students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to SC/ST or PwD categories receive a 50% concession in tuition fees.
  • EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 25% concession in tuition fees.
  • MCM (Minority Community): A 10% discount on tuition fees is available to students from minority communities.

All applications for fee waivers and concessions must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents. The college reviews these applications annually to ensure continued eligibility.

  • Withdrawal within one month: Full refund minus administrative charges.
  • Withdrawal between 1-3 months: Refund of 70% after deducting administrative charges.
  • Withdrawal after 3 months: No refund is granted unless the case is reviewed by the administration.
