Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: This is the primary component of the fee structure, covering instruction, laboratory sessions, and access to digital resources. It remains fixed for all students throughout the program.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges vary based on room type—single, double, or triple occupancy. Additional amenities such as Wi-Fi, AC units, and laundry services may incur extra costs.
Mess Advance: Students pay an advance for meals during the semester. The mess billing system is transparent, with detailed records available online. Refunds are processed if unused portions are returned.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal amount collected to support financially struggling students and fund campus initiatives like cultural events and sports activities.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services, health check-ups, and emergency treatments provided by the on-campus medical center.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports fitness facilities and recreational programs offered through the student gymkhana committee.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs related to conducting internal and external examinations, including result processing and certificate issuance.
Hostel & Mess Charges
TRINITY offers multiple hostel options for students based on preferences and affordability:
- Single Room: Rs. 20,000/month
- Double Room: Rs. 15,000/month
- Triple Room: Rs. 10,000/month
The mess charges are inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the entire month. Students can opt for different meal plans depending on their dietary needs.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
TRINITY provides several financial assistance schemes for deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% fee waiver on tuition and hostel charges.
- EWS Category: A 50% concession on tuition fees and full waiver on hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community): Full waiver on tuition and partial discount on hostel fees.
Applications for these schemes must be submitted along with supporting documents like caste certificates, income proofs, and disability certificates. The selection process is conducted annually by the financial aid committee.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees are to be paid online via net banking or debit/credit cards through the official portal. Late payments attract a penalty of Rs. 500 per day until the dues are cleared.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the following policy:
- Within 7 days: Full refund minus processing charges
- Between 8-30 days: 90% refund
- Beyond 30 days: No refund
Refunds are credited back to the student's bank account within 15 working days of submission of the withdrawal form.
