Fee Component Details
Tuition Fee: This is the primary component covering instruction, library access, and academic resources. It includes fees for faculty salaries, classroom facilities, and digital learning tools.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation in campus hostels is provided at affordable rates. Room types include single, double, and triple occupancy options with shared bathrooms and common areas.
Mess Advance: Students must pay a monthly advance for meals. The mess billing system ensures fair pricing and regular updates on meal plans based on dietary preferences.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee contributes to student welfare initiatives, including scholarships, medical assistance, and emergency support services.
Medical Fees: Covers access to on-campus medical facilities, preventive health checkups, and basic healthcare services for students.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports programs, and fitness center operations, promoting a balanced lifestyle.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting semester-end exams, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel charges are categorized based on room type. Single occupancy rooms cost INR 40,000 annually, while double and triple occupancy rooms are priced accordingly. Additional amenities such as internet access and laundry services are available at extra charges.
The mess system operates with a monthly billing cycle, where students receive a meal allowance that can be adjusted based on consumption patterns. Rebate policies are applicable for students who leave campus temporarily or have medical issues.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Financial assistance is available through various waiver schemes and scholarships tailored to different categories:
- SC/ST/PwD: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees.
- EWS: A 50% waiver on tuition fees for students from economically weaker sections.
- MCM: Merit-cum-means scholarships are awarded based on academic performance and financial need.
Income slabs for eligibility include:
- Below INR 2 lakh: 100% waiver
- INR 2-5 lakh: 50% waiver
- INR 5-10 lakh: 25% waiver
The application process involves submitting income certificates, academic records, and other supporting documents. Students are notified of their status within two weeks of submission.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid by the specified deadlines each semester. Late payments incur a nominal penalty, which is calculated as 0.5% per day beyond the due date.
The refund policy applies to students who withdraw from the program before the start of the academic year. A refund of 90% of the total fees is processed within 30 days of withdrawal, subject to deductions for administrative costs and hostel charges.
