Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers several hostel options to accommodate students from different backgrounds. Single occupancy rooms are available for INR 30,000 per semester, while double and triple occupancy rooms cost INR 25,000 and INR 20,000 respectively.
Hostel amenities include air conditioning, Wi-Fi connectivity, laundry services, and round-the-clock security. Each room is equipped with basic furniture such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and fans.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, where students pay an advance amount for meals. The actual cost is calculated based on consumption, with adjustments made at the end of each month. Rebate policies are available for students who do not use certain services or who have exceptional circumstances.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university provides various financial assistance schemes to ensure that deserving students can pursue their education without financial strain:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from SC/ST or PwD categories are eligible for a 50% fee waiver on tuition and hostel charges. The application must include valid caste certificates and income proofs.
- EWS Category: Students belonging to the Economically Weaker Section category receive a 25% fee concession on tuition and hostel charges. Eligibility is determined based on income criteria set by the government.
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Merit Students): This scheme supports students who have excelled academically in their qualifying examinations. A 10% fee waiver is offered to eligible candidates, provided they meet the academic performance threshold.
Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar cards. The university reviews applications annually, ensuring that only eligible students receive benefits.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees are to be paid on or before the specified deadline each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 500 per day until the payment is cleared. Students are advised to make timely payments to avoid disruptions in their academic progress.
Refund policies are applicable in case of withdrawal from the program. The refund amount depends on the duration of stay and the reason for withdrawal. For voluntary withdrawal, a percentage of the total fees is refunded after deducting administrative charges and hostel maintenance costs.
Students who wish to withdraw must submit a formal application to the administration office along with supporting documents. The refund process begins after approval, and funds are credited to the student's bank account within 30 working days.
