Institute-Wide Scholarships

• MCM Scholarship: Named after the founder, this scholarship is awarded annually to top-performing students based on academic excellence and leadership potential. Amount: Up to Rs. 50,000 per semester.
• Merit Merit Scholarship: Aims to reward consistent high achievers across all branches. Amount: Rs. 25,000 per semester for top 10% of students in each year.
• Women’s Empowerment Scholarship: Supports female students pursuing engineering and technology disciplines. Amount: Rs. 30,000 per semester.
• Disability Inclusion Scholarship: Provides financial support to students with disabilities to ensure equal access to education. Amount: Rs. 40,000 per semester.

Alumni and Donor Scholarships

• Dr. S. Ramanathan Memorial Scholarship: Established by the alumni association of AIT, this scholarship supports students from rural backgrounds. Amount: Rs. 20,000 per semester.
• Ashok and Padma Foundation Scholarship: Funded by a prominent donor, this scholarship is awarded to students demonstrating exceptional academic performance and community involvement. Amount: Rs. 35,000 per semester.
• Rajesh and Priya Patel Memorial Scholarship: Named after alumni who contributed significantly to the institute, this scholarship supports underprivileged students. Amount: Rs. 25,000 per semester.
• Global Education Trust Scholarship: Offered in collaboration with global educational institutions, this scholarship supports students interested in pursuing international education. Amount: Rs. 50,000 per semester.

Government Scholarships

AIT actively promotes government scholarships to students through dedicated counseling sessions and application support:

• National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS): Available for students from SC/ST/OBC categories. Amount: Rs. 1000 per month.
• Post-Matric Scholarship: For students from economically weaker sections. Amount: Rs. 2000 per month.

Scholarship Application Process

The application process varies by scholarship type but generally involves:

1. Eligibility Verification: Applicants must meet specific criteria such as academic performance, category, and income level.
