Breakdown of Fee Components

Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative support during the program. This fee is fixed for the entire duration of the course.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in university-hosted dormitories with shared facilities such as common rooms, laundry services, and 24/7 security. Room types vary from single occupancy to four-bedded accommodations.

Mess Advance: Paid upfront for meals provided in campus dining halls. The advance covers the cost of daily meals for a semester and is adjusted at the end of the term based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A voluntary contribution towards student welfare, used for scholarships, emergency assistance, and cultural activities.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, including consultations, diagnostics, and minor treatments.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports and recreational activities on campus, including gym access, participation in tournaments, and fitness programs.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting end-of-semester exams, including question paper preparation, invigilation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The university operates multiple hostels for both male and female students. Hostel rooms are categorized into:

  • Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹30,000 per semester with private bathroom facilities.
  • Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹25,000 per semester with shared bathroom facilities.
  • Four-Bedded Rooms: ₹20,000 per semester with shared bathroom facilities.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students are required to pay an advance amount at the beginning of each month based on their meal plan. The actual cost is adjusted after the month ends depending on consumption patterns.

Rebate policies are available for students who take leave or go on field trips for academic purposes. These rebates are calculated proportionally based on the number of days absent from the mess facility.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university offers various financial aid options to deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for students belonging to these categories. Applicants must submit valid certificates issued by competent authorities.
  • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for economically weaker sections with income below ₹8 lakh annually.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): 25% fee concession for students from minority communities recognized by the government.

Eligibility criteria are strictly enforced, and applicants must provide supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates during the application process. Applications for scholarships are reviewed annually, and recipients are notified before the start of each academic year.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid online via net banking, debit card, or credit card through the official university portal. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500 per day until the outstanding balance is cleared.

If a student withdraws from the program before completing the academic year, the refund policy applies:

  • For withdrawal within 30 days of admission: Full refund minus administrative charges.
  • Between 31-90 days: Refund of 75% of fees after deducting administrative costs.
  • Beyond 90 days: No refund is granted unless there are exceptional circumstances approved by the university administration.

The refund process typically takes 45 working days from the date of approval. Students must submit a written application along with supporting documents for consideration.
