Scholarships and Financial Aid
The university offers various scholarships and financial aid options to support students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Merit-Based Scholarships: Students who secure top ranks in qualifying examinations are eligible for merit-based scholarships worth up to 100% of tuition fees. These scholarships are awarded annually based on performance in Class 12th and entrance examination scores.
Need-Based Concessions: For students belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, the university provides full or partial fee waivers based on income slabs. The eligibility criteria include family income below INR 2 lakhs per annum for general category and below INR 1 lakh per annum for reserved categories.
EWS Concessions: Students from Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) are eligible for a 50% reduction in tuition fees if their family income is below INR 4 lakhs per annum.
MCM Scholarships: For students from minority communities, the university offers special scholarships covering up to 75% of tuition fees. These scholarships require documentation of community affiliation and academic excellence.
The application process for these financial aid options involves submitting relevant documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, disability certificates, and academic transcripts. Applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee that evaluates eligibility and awards scholarships accordingly.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Students can make fee payments through online portals or offline modes including NEFT/RTGS and cash deposits at designated bank branches. Late payment incurs a penalty of INR 500 per day until the dues are cleared.
The refund policy is applicable in cases where students withdraw from the program before completing their studies. Refunds are processed within 30 days of withdrawal, subject to deductions for administrative charges and outstanding fees.
Students who wish to apply for fee concessions or scholarships must submit applications by the specified deadlines. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered under current academic year policies.
