Admission Process

The admission process for the Sustainability program at Anant National University Ahmedabad is designed to identify academically strong and ethically grounded students who are passionate about creating a sustainable future. Applications can be submitted through various pathways including JEE Advanced, JEE Main, or direct admission based on qualifying exam scores.

For JEE Advanced applicants, the process begins with registration on the official website, followed by filling out the application form with personal details, academic history, and chosen category. Applicants must upload scanned copies of required documents including photograph, signature, and identity proof.

After submission, candidates appear for the JEE Advanced examination held in May, which consists of two papers: Paper I (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics, Chemistry, Biology). The results are announced in June, followed by counseling sessions conducted online through JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority).

For those applying through JEE Main, the process is similar but with different eligibility criteria and seat allocation procedures. Candidates must score above the qualifying threshold set by the university and participate in state-level or central counseling processes.

Direct admission is also available for students who have completed their qualifying examination (12th grade) with a minimum aggregate of 75% (with relaxation for reserved categories). Aspirant Preparation Advice

Preparing for admission to the Sustainability program at Anant National University Ahmedabad requires a strategic approach that balances academic excellence with time management and conceptual clarity.

For JEE Advanced preparation, students should focus on mastering core concepts in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It is essential to practice previous years' question papers and take regular mock tests to improve speed and accuracy. Joining coaching institutes or online platforms like Unacademy or BYJU’S can provide structured guidance.

For JEE Main aspirants, the focus should be on strengthening fundamentals while practicing numerical problems regularly. Time management is critical during the exam, so students must learn to solve questions efficiently without compromising accuracy.

When filling choices in counseling, it is important to consider the rank obtained, preferred branch, and category. Prioritize institutions based on past cutoff ranks and ensure that at least one choice is within reach. Students should also be aware of the reservation policy and fill their preferences accordingly.

For direct admission candidates, preparing for the interview is crucial. Candidates should familiarize themselves with current environmental issues, sustainability practices, and basic knowledge about the university's programs and research initiatives.

Lastly, maintaining consistent study schedules, seeking guidance from mentors, and staying updated with educational news can significantly improve chances of success in the admission process.
