The Law program at Annamacharya University Rajampet is structured to provide a comprehensive and progressive educational experience. The curriculum is designed to build foundational knowledge in the first year, deepen understanding in the second, and foster specialization and practical application in the third.
In the first year, students are introduced to fundamental legal concepts and principles. Courses include Introduction to Law, Jurisprudence, Legal Methodology, Constitutional Law I, Contract Law, and Torts and Crimes I. These courses lay the groundwork for understanding how law operates within society and prepare students for more advanced topics.
The second year delves deeper into specialized areas of law. Students study Constitutional Law II, Property Law, Family Law, Torts and Crimes II, Legal Writing & Research, and Criminal Law. The focus shifts from theory to application, with students engaging in case studies, legal writing exercises, and problem-solving activities.
The third year offers a range of electives that allow students to specialize according to their interests. Topics include International Law, Human Rights Law, Corporate Law, Environmental Law, Labour & Employment Law, and Intellectual Property Law. Students also participate in moot court competitions and legal writing workshops.
The fourth year is dedicated to capstone projects and professional development. Students choose a specialization track and work on a final thesis project under faculty supervision. They also engage in internships, legal practice workshops, and professional development sessions to prepare for their careers.

Our advanced elective courses are designed to provide depth and specialization in emerging areas of law:
At Annamacharya University Rajampet, project-based learning is central to our pedagogy. Students engage in both mini-projects and a capstone thesis that allows them to apply legal principles to real-world problems. Mini-projects are assigned at the end of each semester and must be completed individually or in small groups.
For the final-year thesis, students select topics aligned with their interests and career goals. They work closely with faculty mentors who guide them through research methodologies, case analysis, and academic writing. The thesis is evaluated based on originality, depth of research, clarity of argumentation, and presentation quality.
