Fee Structure Overview

The total fee structure for the B.Tech in Education program at Arunodaya University Papum Pare is designed to be transparent and accessible. The fees are divided into several components, each contributing to the overall cost of education and campus life.

Fee Components Explained

• Tuition Fee: Covers academic instruction, access to learning resources, and faculty support. This fee is non-refundable.
• Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in single or double occupancy rooms with basic amenities such as beds, wardrobes, and study tables.
• Mess Advance: A fixed amount paid upfront to cover food expenses for the semester. The actual cost is adjusted at the end of the semester based on consumption.
• Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies.
• Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services and access to a campus clinic.
• Gymkhana Fees: Provides access to sports facilities, fitness classes, and recreational activities.
• Examination Fees: Covers the cost of conducting exams, including grading and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Students have a choice between single or double occupancy rooms in the hostel. The mess billing system is based on monthly consumption, with an advance payment required at the beginning of each month. Rebate policies are available for students who do not use certain services.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial aid is available through several schemes:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees with partial concession on hostel charges.
• EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fees and full concession on hostel charges.
• MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% concession on tuition fees.

Applications for financial aid must be submitted online, along with supporting documents such as income certificates and caste or disability certificates. The process is reviewed by a dedicated committee to ensure fairness and transparency.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Students must complete payment by the specified deadline each semester. Late payments incur a fixed late fee of 1000 INR per month. Refunds are processed only in cases of withdrawal from the university, subject to certain conditions and timelines. The refund policy ensures that students receive their money back within 30 days of submission of all required documents.
