Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at AIU Imphal West offer both single and double occupancy rooms with shared bathrooms. Each room comes equipped with essential furniture and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Mess charges are calculated based on the number of meals consumed per month. Students can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, with flexibility in meal selection.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they do not consume meals for extended periods or during holidays. Full refunds are provided upon withdrawal from the university.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides various financial aid schemes for deserving students:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% waiver on tuition fees and full exemption from hostel charges.
  • EWS Category: Students in this category get a 25% discount on tuition fees and partial rebate on hostel charges.
  • MCM (Minority Community Member): A 10% reduction in tuition fees is offered to eligible candidates from minority communities.

Applications for these concessions must be submitted along with supporting documents such as caste certificates, income proofs, and disability certificates. The process involves verification by the university administration before approval.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid through online banking or NEFT transfers to designated accounts. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day until full payment is received.

If a student withdraws from the university, a refund of unutilized fees is processed within 30 days after submission of necessary documents. Refund eligibility depends on the timing of withdrawal and adherence to university policies.
