Fee Component Details
Tuition Fee: This covers the cost of instruction, laboratory facilities, and access to digital resources such as e-books and online journals.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation charges for university-hosted dormitories. Students can choose between single, double, or triple occupancy rooms.
Mess Advance: A fixed monthly advance for meals provided in the university cafeteria. This amount may vary based on meal plans and dietary preferences.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee collected to support students facing financial hardships or emergencies.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available at the university's medical center.
Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to sports facilities, gymnasiums, and recreational activities.
Examination Fees: Charged for conducting internal assessments and external examinations.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers multiple hostel options with varying amenities and charges. Room types include:
- Single Occupancy: INR 25000 per semester
- Double Occupancy: INR 15000 per semester
- Triple Occupancy: INR 10000 per semester
Mess billing is calculated on a monthly basis, with different meal plans available. Students can opt for vegetarian or non-vegetarian options, and the system allows for easy adjustments based on dietary requirements.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers various financial assistance programs to eligible students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 50% waiver on tuition fee with full exemption from hostel rent and mess charges.
- EWS Category: 25% waiver on tuition fee with partial exemption from hostel rent and mess charges.
- MCM (Migrant Children of Migrant Workers): 100% waiver on tuition fee with full exemption from hostel rent and mess charges.
Income slabs for scholarship eligibility:
- Below INR 2,00,000: Full scholarship
- INR 2,00,000 - 4,00,000: 50% scholarship
- INR 4,00,000 - 6,00,000: 25% scholarship
Students must submit an application along with supporting documents such as income certificates and caste certificates to be considered for financial aid.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within the specified deadline, which is usually the first week of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 1000 per day beyond the due date.
If a student withdraws from the program before completing the academic year, the refund policy applies as follows:
- Before 30 days of commencement: 100% refund
- Between 30 and 60 days: 75% refund
- After 60 days: No refund
Refunds are processed within 30 working days after the withdrawal request is approved.
