Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facilities at BAGULA MUKHI COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY are designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students:
- Room Types: Hostels offer single, double, and triple occupancy rooms equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and fans.
- Mess Billing System: Students pay monthly mess bills based on the number of days they stay in the hostel. The system uses RFID cards to track attendance and generate invoices automatically.
- Rebate Policies: Students who leave campus for short periods (up to 3 days) receive partial refunds on their mess charges. Full refunds are provided if a student is absent for more than 10 consecutive days.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We recognize the importance of financial assistance and have established several programs to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive a 100% fee waiver on tuition fees and a 50% concession on hostel charges.
- EWS Category: Eligible students get a 50% reduction in tuition fees and full exemption from hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Members): These students receive a 30% discount on all fees except examination fees, which are free of charge.
The application process involves submitting an income certificate, category certificate, and other supporting documents through the official portal. Eligibility is verified by the finance department before disbursal of benefits.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made online using net banking, credit/debit cards, or UPI apps. The payment deadlines are as follows:
- First Semester: Before the start of the academic year (June 1st)
- Subsequent Semesters: Within 7 days after the commencement of the semester
Late fees are calculated at 2% per month on overdue amounts. Refunds are processed within 30 working days upon withdrawal or cancellation of admission. Students must submit a written application along with supporting documents for refund requests.
