Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: Covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and library facilities. It includes lectures, seminars, laboratory sessions, and faculty support.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus-hostels with shared or private rooms. The rent covers utilities such as electricity, water, internet, and maintenance services.
Mess Advance: This is a one-time advance payment for meals during the semester. It includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the college mess facility.
Student Benevolent Fund: A fund used to assist financially disadvantaged students with emergencies, medical expenses, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical check-ups, health consultations, and access to on-campus health services.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports the maintenance of sports facilities and participation in various athletic events and activities.
Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs related to conducting exams, evaluating answer sheets, and issuing certificates.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The college offers multiple hostel options for students, including single, double, triple, and quad occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and internet connectivity.
The mess facility provides three meals a day (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at reasonable rates. Students are required to pay an advance for the entire semester in addition to monthly billing based on consumption.
Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds if they are absent due to illness or other valid reasons. Additionally, there are special arrangements for visiting family members and guests.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The college offers various financial assistance programs to deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Students: 50% concession on tuition fees and full waiver of hostel charges.
- EWS Category: 25% concession on tuition fees and partial waiver of hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Students): 25% concession on tuition fees and access to special scholarships.
Eligibility for these benefits is determined based on income slabs, caste certificates, and other supporting documents submitted during the admission process. Applications for financial aid must be filed annually with the designated authority.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees are payable through online banking, NEFT/RTGS, or credit/debit card transactions. Payments must be completed before the specified deadlines to avoid late fees and penalties.
If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:
- Withdrawal within 15 days: Full refund of tuition fee minus administrative charges (INR 1000).
- Withdrawal between 16-30 days: Refund of 75% of tuition fee minus administrative charges.
- Withdrawal after 30 days: No refund is granted, except in cases of medical emergencies with documented proof.
