Hostel & Mess Charges
The college offers several room types for students to choose from based on their preferences and budget. The hostel facility includes single, double, and triple occupancy rooms equipped with essential amenities such as beds, wardrobes, study tables, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Mess Billing System
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis where students are charged based on their consumption. An initial advance of INR 30,000 is collected per semester to cover mess expenses. At the end of the semester, the actual usage is calculated, and any excess or deficit is adjusted accordingly.
Rebate Policies
Students who reside in hostels but do not use the mess facilities can apply for a rebate of up to 50% on their mess charges. Applications must be submitted before the start of the semester and are subject to approval by the hostel authority.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Beehive College offers various financial assistance options to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. These include fee waivers, concessions, and scholarships based on income slabs and category-specific criteria.
Eligibility Criteria
- SC/ST/PwD: Students belonging to these categories are eligible for full fee waiver if their annual income is below INR 1 lakh.
- EWS: Eligible for partial fee concession (up to 50%) if annual income exceeds INR 1 lakh but remains within the specified limit.
- MCM: Merit-cum-means category students receive a scholarship covering up to 75% of tuition fees based on performance and financial status.
Application Process
To apply for financial aid, students must submit an application form along with supporting documents such as income certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), and Aadhaar card. Applications are reviewed by a committee that evaluates eligibility and disburses funds accordingly.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within 10 days of admission or before the start of each semester. Late payments attract a late fee of INR 500 per day beyond the deadline. Payment can be made through online banking, debit/credit cards, NEFT, or demand draft.
Refund Rules
If a student withdraws from the program before completing one semester, a refund of 70% of paid fees will be processed after deducting administrative charges. No refunds are allowed once a student completes one semester unless there are extenuating circumstances approved by the college authorities.
