Tuition Fee: This is the primary component covering instruction, infrastructure maintenance, and administrative costs. It remains consistent across all semesters.

Hostel Rent: Hostel accommodation charges vary based on room type. Single occupancy rooms cost ₹40,000 annually, while shared rooms are priced at ₹30,000 per year. Additional amenities like Wi-Fi and laundry services incur extra fees.

Mess Advance: Students pay a monthly mess advance of ₹25,000 for each semester. This covers meals throughout the month and is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.

Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal contribution of ₹2,000 per semester supports student welfare initiatives and scholarships.

Medical Fees: Annual medical charges of ₹3,000 cover healthcare services provided on campus. Students are encouraged to maintain health insurance for additional coverage.

Gymkhana Fees: ₹1,000 per semester covers gym access and recreational activities within the campus.

Examination Fees: ₹4,000 per semester covers examination registration and related administrative expenses.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel accommodation at Bipin Tripathi Kumaon Institute Of Technology offers modern amenities for students. Hostel rooms are available in both single and double occupancy formats. The mess facility serves three meals daily with a diverse menu catering to different dietary preferences.

Mess billing is based on actual consumption, with adjustments made monthly. Rebate policies apply to students who miss meals due to illness or travel. Students can opt for special diets such as vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and lactose-free options.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial assistance is available through various schemes:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for students from Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe or Persons with Disabilities. Requires relevant certificates.
• EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fee and full waiver on hostel rent. Eligibility based on income slabs under EWS guidelines.
• MCM (Minority Community Members): 25% discount on tuition fees and partial waiver on hostel charges.

Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents during the admission process. The selection committee reviews applications based on income criteria, family size, and other qualifying factors.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments are due before the start of each semester. Late fees of ₹500 per day apply after the deadline. Students can make payments via online banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts.

If a student withdraws from the program, refund policies dictate partial reimbursement based on the duration of attendance. Refunds are processed within 60 days of submission of withdrawal forms and necessary documentation.
