Tuition Fee: This is the primary component covering academic instruction, laboratory access, and library services. It is fixed annually and includes all course materials and digital resources.

Hostel Rent: Students are required to pay monthly rent for accommodation on campus. The hostel facilities provide clean, safe, and comfortable living environments with amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry, and 24/7 security.

Mess Advance: A fixed amount is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover meals for the entire period. Students can adjust their mess charges based on usage during the month.

Student Benevolent Fund: Contributions towards this fund support underprivileged students, scholarships, and extracurricular activities. The fund also covers emergency assistance for students facing financial hardships.

• Double Occupancy Room: Shared accommodation between two students, promoting social interaction while maintaining a conducive study environment.
• Triple Occupancy Room: Suitable for three students sharing common facilities and fostering teamwork and collaboration.

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis with options to adjust charges based on consumption. Rebates are available for students who do not consume meals regularly, ensuring fair pricing.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

BIMT recognizes the financial challenges faced by many students and provides several fee waivers and concessions:

• SC/ST/PwD Category: Students from SC/ST categories receive a 50% discount on tuition fees. PwD students are eligible for full fee waiver along with additional support services.
• EWS Category: Students from economically weaker sections are entitled to a 25% concession on tuition fees and other applicable charges.
• MCM (Married Child of Military Personnel): Eligible students receive a 20% reduction in tuition fees and access to special scholarship programs.

Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents such as caste certificates, income proof, and medical reports. The process is streamlined through the student portal with dedicated assistance from financial aid officers.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments are to be made via online banking or credit/debit cards through the official BIMT portal. Late payments incur a fixed penalty of INR 1000 per month until full settlement is achieved.

In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the following schedule:

• Before Academic Session Begins: Full refund minus processing charges of INR 2000.
• Within First Month: Refund of 90% after deducting one month’s fee and processing charges.
• After First Month: No refund is granted unless the student is admitted to another institution under transfer rules.

Students must submit a written application for withdrawal along with necessary documentation. Refunds are credited back to the original payment method within 30 days of approval.
