Fee Structure Overview

Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee: This component covers the cost of instruction, access to academic resources, and laboratory sessions. It is fixed for the entire duration of the program and includes all necessary materials and software licenses.
Hostel Rent: Students are required to pay monthly hostel rent, which varies based on room type. The university offers multiple accommodation options including single, double, and triple occupancy rooms.
Mess Advance: An advance payment is collected for mess services during the semester. This amount covers food expenses and is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A nominal fee contributes to the fund supporting students in need, including those facing financial difficulties or emergencies.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided within campus clinics and access to emergency medical assistance.
Gymkhana Fees: Includes access to gym facilities, sports equipment, and participation in campus sports events and activities.
Examination Fees: Covers the cost of conducting semester-end examinations, including evaluation and result processing fees.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The university provides various hostel accommodations to suit different preferences and budgets. Room types include:
- Single Occupancy: ₹15000 per month, with private bathroom facilities and dedicated study space.
- Double Occupancy: ₹12000 per month, shared bathroom facilities and common study areas.
- Triple Occupancy: ₹10000 per month, shared amenities and communal living spaces.
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive a detailed breakdown of their food consumption, with deductions made from the advance amount paid at the beginning of each semester. Rebate policies are available for students who do not utilize certain services or opt out of specific meals.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several financial aid schemes to support deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Full waiver on tuition fees for students belonging to these categories with income below ₹2 lakhs per annum.
- EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fees for students from EWS background with income below ₹3 lakhs per annum.
- MCM (Merit Cum Means): 25% concession on tuition fees for top-performing students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds with income up to ₹4 lakhs per annum.
Application procedures involve submission of relevant documents including income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates. Eligibility criteria are reviewed annually by the financial aid committee.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within the specified deadline to avoid late penalties. Payment can be made through online banking, NEFT/RTGS, demand draft, or cash at the campus office.
Late fees are calculated at 1% per month on outstanding balances. In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies apply as per university guidelines:
- Full refund is possible only if withdrawal occurs before the start of the semester.
- Partial refunds are applicable for withdrawals within the first two weeks of the semester with a processing fee of 10%.
- No refund is granted after the completion of two weeks of the semester unless there are extenuating circumstances reviewed by the administration.
