Detailed Fee Components

The tuition fee covers instruction, access to academic resources, and administrative services. It is designed to be affordable while ensuring high-quality education and infrastructure.

Hostel rent provides comfortable accommodation for students, with options ranging from single rooms to shared accommodations. The facility includes amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry services, security, and 24/7 maintenance support.

Mess advance is collected at the beginning of each semester to cover meal expenses throughout the term. The mess operates on a billing system that ensures fair distribution of costs among residents.

The Student Benevolent Fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary and help provide assistance during difficult times.

Medical fees cover access to on-campus healthcare facilities, including consultations with doctors, diagnostic tests, and emergency services. The fund ensures that all students have access to basic medical care.

Gymkhana fees support campus recreational activities, sports events, and cultural programs. These funds contribute to a vibrant student life and overall well-being.

Examination fees cover costs associated with conducting exams, including proctoring, marking, and result processing. These fees are collected per semester and ensure smooth academic operations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Hostel accommodation is available in different room types, including single, double, triple, and quad occupancy. Each room is equipped with essential furniture, air conditioning, and internet connectivity.

The mess charges vary depending on the type of room and meal plan chosen. Students can opt for daily meals or monthly subscriptions that include breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The billing system is transparent and regularly updated to reflect changes in cost of living.

Rebate policies allow students to receive partial refunds under certain circumstances such as leave of absence, medical emergencies, or other valid reasons. These policies ensure fairness and flexibility in the payment process.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Several financial aid options are available for students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students belonging to these categories receive full fee waivers based on verified certificates.
  • EWS Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees, subject to income slabs and verification.
  • MCM (Minority Community Members): A 25% reduction in fees is offered to students from minority communities with verified documentation.

Applications for fee concessions must be submitted through the official portal along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The process is streamlined to ensure timely processing and approval of requests.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid within the specified deadline to avoid late fees and penalties. Payments can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. Students are provided with payment receipts upon successful transactions.

Failure to pay fees on time incurs a late fee of INR 500 per day until the outstanding amount is cleared. Refunds are processed according to university guidelines and may take up to four weeks for completion.

In case of withdrawal or discontinuation, students are entitled to a refund of remaining fees after deducting administrative charges and any applicable penalties. The refund process is governed by strict rules and requires submission of necessary documentation including the withdrawal letter and final academic records.
