The hostel accommodation at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University Dehradun is available in single, double, and triple occupancy rooms. Each room is equipped with basic amenities including beds, wardrobes, study tables, and internet connectivity.
Mess charges are collected monthly, with options for weekly or bi-weekly billing based on student preference. The mess offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals prepared by certified chefs. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals during certain periods, such as holidays or special events.
Financial aid is provided through various scholarship schemes based on merit and need. The university offers scholarships for SC/ST/PwD students, EWS candidates, and MCM (Minority Community Members) based on income slabs.
For SC/ST/PwD students, full or partial fee waivers are granted upon submission of valid documentation. EWS students with annual family income below ₹4 lakh receive a 50% concession in tuition fees.
MCM students qualify for a 25% fee reduction if their family income is less than ₹3 lakh. Applications for financial assistance must be submitted during the admission process or before the start of each semester.
All fees must be paid through online banking, net banking, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced, with a late fee of ₹500 per day applicable after the due date.
Refunds are processed only in cases of withdrawal from the program or transfer to another institution. The refund policy specifies that 80% of the fees paid will be refunded upon formal withdrawal, subject to deduction of administrative charges and hostel dues.
