Fee Structure (Per Semester)

The total annual fee for the Biotechnology program is ₹662,000, payable in two installments per semester.

Detailed Fee Components

• Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory access, and academic resources provided during the semester. Includes access to digital libraries, online platforms, and research facilities.
• Hostel Rent: Paid for accommodation in university-hosted dormitories. Rooms are shared among 2-4 students with basic amenities including Wi-Fi, AC, and laundry services.
• Mess Advance: A prepayment towards meals during the semester. Students can adjust this amount based on consumption at the end of the term.
• Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but recommended for maintaining campus community support systems.
• Medical Fees: Covers basic medical checkups, vaccinations, and emergency healthcare services available on campus.
• Gymkhana Fees: Funds recreational activities, sports equipment maintenance, and fitness programs offered by the university.
• Examination Fees: Required for conducting assessments including internal tests, end-of-semester exams, and practical evaluations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel facilities at Driems University Cuttack are categorized into different room types:

• Single Room: ₹20,000 per semester for a single occupant with private bathroom and Wi-Fi.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payments can be made online via net banking or credit/debit cards, or through bank transfers. All payments must be completed within the first week of each semester to avoid late fees.

Failure to pay within the deadline incurs a late fee of ₹5000 per month. Refunds are processed only after verification and approval by the finance department. Withdrawal requests must be submitted at least one month before the start of the semester to qualify for partial refunds.
