Component Details
Tuition Fee: Covers academic instruction, access to library resources, and administrative services. It includes costs for faculty salaries, infrastructure maintenance, and technology upgrades.
Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation facilities with shared rooms or private suites depending on the category chosen. Amenities include Wi-Fi, laundry services, security, and 24/7 support staff.
Mess Advance: Covers meal expenses for students living on campus. The mess operates on a monthly billing cycle with options to prepay for multiple months.
Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies through emergency grants and scholarships.
Medical Fees: Includes basic healthcare services, including consultations, vaccinations, and access to medical facilities on campus.
Gymkhana Fees: Covers fitness center access, sports equipment rentals, and participation in campus events and tournaments.
Examination Fees: Covers examination conduct, grading, transcript issuance, and other academic administrative costs.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facilities offer multiple room types including single occupancy rooms, double occupancy rooms, and triple occupancy rooms. Room charges vary based on amenities provided:
- Single Occupancy Rooms: Rs. 15000/month with private bathroom and Wi-Fi.
- Double Occupancy Rooms: Rs. 10000/month with shared bathroom and Wi-Fi.
- Triple Occupancy Rooms: Rs. 7000/month with shared bathroom and basic amenities.
The mess operates on a daily meal system with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Students can prepay for meals or opt for monthly billing. Additional charges apply for special dietary requirements or extra services.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Financial aid is available to students based on merit, need, and other criteria:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fees with partial or full concession on hostel charges.
- EWS Category: 50% waiver on tuition fees with concessional hostel charges.
- MCM (Meritorious Students): Full waiver on tuition fees and full or partial concession on hostel charges based on performance in qualifying examinations.
Applications for fee concessions must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and proof of disability. The selection committee evaluates applications based on established criteria.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid within the first week of each semester to avoid late fees. Payment can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or NEFT/RTGS transfers. A late payment fee of Rs. 1000 per day is applicable beyond the deadline.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the following policy:
- Withdrawal within first two weeks: Full refund minus administrative charges of Rs. 5000.
- Withdrawal between third and fourth week: Refund of 75% after deducting administrative charges.
- Withdrawal beyond fourth week: No refund is granted except in exceptional circumstances.
