Component-wise Explanation
- Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, course materials, and access to university libraries and digital resources.
- Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in the campus hostel with basic amenities like bed, study table, and shared bathroom facilities.
- Mess Advance: Advance payment for meals provided by the campus mess service, which operates seven days a week.
- Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial difficulties or emergencies through loans and grants.
- Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available at the on-campus medical center.
- Gymkhana Fees: Funds sports and recreational activities, including access to gymnasiums, courts, and fitness equipment.
- Examination Fees: Covers administrative costs associated with conducting end-of-semester examinations.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facilities at Electronics Service And Training Centre are designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students. There are three types of rooms:
- Single Occupancy Room: ₹30,000 per semester
- Double Occupancy Room: ₹25,000 per semester
- Triple Occupancy Room: ₹20,000 per semester
The mess system operates on a monthly subscription model with meals available throughout the day. Students must pre-pay for one month in advance, and the bill is adjusted at the end of each month based on consumption.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university offers several financial aid options to deserving students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: 100% waiver on tuition fee and hostel charges
- EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fee
- MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): 75% concession on all fees
Eligibility criteria for these concessions are based on income slabs and documentation. Applications must be submitted along with supporting documents such as caste certificates, income certificates, and Aadhaar cards.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Fees must be paid within the first week of each semester. Payment can be made through online banking, credit/debit cards, or demand drafts. Late payments incur a penalty fee of ₹1000 per month.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refund policies are as follows:
- Before 30 days of admission: Full refund minus processing fees
- Between 30-60 days: 75% refund
- After 60 days: No refund
Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of the withdrawal application and necessary documentation.
