Fee Components Breakdown

Tuition Fee

The tuition fee covers the cost of instruction and access to academic resources including libraries, laboratories, and digital platforms. It is fixed for each semester and does not include additional charges for course materials or lab supplies.

Hostel Rent

Students can opt for campus-hostel accommodation, which includes shared rooms with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, wardrobes, and air conditioning. The rent is paid monthly and covers utilities like electricity, water, and internet.

Mess Advance

Each student pays an advance mess fee at the beginning of the semester to cover meal expenses for the entire duration. This amount is adjusted based on actual consumption at the end of the semester.

Student Benevolent Fund

This fund supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies and contributes to the university's social responsibility initiatives.

Medical Fees

The medical fee covers access to campus health services, including consultations, medicines, and basic diagnostic tests. It ensures that students have timely healthcare support during their academic journey.

Gymkhana Fees

These fees provide access to recreational facilities such as gyms, sports courts, and cultural events on campus. They contribute to a holistic student experience by promoting physical and mental well-being.

Examination Fees

Each examination session incurs an additional fee for processing results, maintaining exam centers, and ensuring quality assessments. This includes both internal and external examinations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

Room Types

The campus offers several types of hostel rooms:

  • Single Occupancy Room: For one student with private amenities including a study table, bed, wardrobe, and internet access.
  • Double Occupancy Room: Shared by two students with basic amenities and common spaces.
  • Triple Occupancy Room: Accommodates three students in shared rooms with essential facilities.

Mess Billing System

The mess billing system operates on a prepaid model where students pay an advance amount for meals. At the end of each month, the actual cost is calculated and adjustments are made accordingly. The monthly average meal cost ranges from INR 2000 to 4000 depending on room type and meal preferences.

Rebate Policies

Students who do not consume meals for extended periods may apply for rebates. Rebates are granted based on valid reasons such as illness or travel, subject to approval by the hostel administration.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria

Financial aid is available to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Students must belong to these categories with income below INR 1 lakh annually.
  • EWS Category: Income should be between INR 1-3 lakhs annually.
  • MCM (Minority Community Members): Income up to INR 2 lakhs annually.

Benefits and Applications

Students meeting the eligibility criteria can apply for fee waivers or concessions through an online portal. The application process requires submission of income certificates, caste certificates (if applicable), and other supporting documents. Approved students receive partial or full fee exemptions based on their financial status.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

Payment Deadlines

All fees must be paid within the specified deadlines to avoid late penalties. Failure to pay by the deadline may result in suspension of academic activities until payment is made.

Late Fee Calculations

A late fee of INR 1000 per day is applicable if payments are delayed beyond the due date. This fee is automatically added to the outstanding balance and must be cleared before rejoining classes.

Refund Rules

If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:

  • Withdrawal Before First Month: Full refund minus processing charges of INR 5000.
  • Withdrawal Between First and Third Month: Refund of 75% of total fees after deducting administrative costs.
  • Withdrawal After Third Month: No refund is granted unless exceptional circumstances are approved by the administration.
