Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: This fee covers instruction and access to academic resources including libraries, labs, and digital platforms. It includes charges for faculty, course materials, and administrative support.
Hostel Rent: Accommodation is provided in modern dormitories with shared facilities. The rent covers maintenance, utilities, security, and common area upkeep.
Mess Advance: Students pay an advance for meals during the semester. The mess system provides three meals per day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small fee contributes to scholarships and support programs for economically disadvantaged students.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus including routine checkups and emergency care.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports activities, fitness centers, and extracurricular events organized by the student union.

Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers several types of hostel rooms:

The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis. Students receive a detailed bill at the end of each month covering:

Rebate policies are applicable for students who opt out of mess services or those with special dietary requirements. These rebates are calculated based on the number of days absent from meals.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Ethics University Pauri Garhwal provides financial assistance through various schemes:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 100% waiver on tuition fees and a partial rebate on hostel charges.
- EWS Category: Students in this category get a 50% waiver on tuition fees and a 25% rebate on hostel charges.
- MCM (Minority Community Members): A 30% waiver on tuition fees and a 15% rebate on hostel charges is granted.
Income slabs for financial aid eligibility:
- Annual income up to ₹2,00,000: Full scholarship
- Annual income between ₹2,00,000 - ₹4,00,000: 50% scholarship
- Annual income between ₹4,00,000 - ₹8,00,000: 30% scholarship

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All payments must be made through online banking or NEFT/RTGS transfers to the university's designated account. Payment deadlines are clearly communicated via email and SMS notifications.
Late Fee Calculation: A late fee of ₹500 per day is applicable for overdue payments beyond the deadline.
Refund Policy:
- Students who withdraw from the university within 15 days of admission are eligible for a full refund minus administrative charges.
- Withdrawals after 15 days but before completion of one semester incur a penalty of 20% of total fees.
- No refunds are issued after the completion of one semester unless under exceptional circumstances approved by the university authorities.
Refunds are processed within 30 working days upon submission of valid documentation and approval from relevant departments.
