Student Benevolent Fund

Medical Fees

Mess Billing System
The mess billing system operates on a monthly cycle, where students are charged based on their actual consumption. Monthly bills are generated using digital platforms and can be paid through net banking, UPI, or mobile wallets.
Rebate Policies
Students residing in hostels are eligible for rebates during holidays, examination periods, or when they leave campus for internships or research projects. Rebates are calculated based on the duration of absence and depend on hostel policies.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
Eligibility Criteria
- SC/ST/PwD: Students belonging to SC/ST categories or those with disabilities receive full fee waivers.
- EWS: Students from economically weaker sections (EWS) receive 50% concession on tuition fees.
- MCM: Merit-cum-means category students qualify for partial fee concessions based on their academic performance and financial status.
Application Process
To apply for fee waivers or scholarships, students must submit the required documents (income certificate, caste certificate, disability certificate) along with an application form available on the university portal. Applications are reviewed by a dedicated committee, and decisions are communicated within 15 working days.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payment Deadlines
Fees must be paid before the start of each semester. Late payments attract a penalty of ₹500 per day, with a maximum cap of ₹5,000 per semester.
Refund Rules
- Withdrawal Before Academic Start: Full refund is processed within 30 days if withdrawal occurs before the academic session begins.
- Withdrawal During Session: Refunds are processed based on attendance and course completion, with deductions for administrative charges.
