The admission process for Geeta University Panipat's Physiotherapy program is designed to ensure merit-based selection while maintaining inclusivity and accessibility. Applications are accepted through national-level entrance examinations including JEE Main and JEE Advanced, with additional eligibility criteria for candidates from various categories.

The application procedure begins with online registration where students must provide personal details, educational background, and contact information. Required documents include academic transcripts, identification proof, passport-size photographs, and category certificates if applicable. Applications are submitted through the university's official portal with a nominal processing fee of INR 500.

After document verification, candidates proceed to the written examination phase, which consists of objective-type questions covering physics, chemistry, biology, and general aptitude. The exam duration is two hours, with negative marking for incorrect answers. Based on performance, shortlisted candidates are invited for counseling sessions where they can choose their preferred branch based on available seats.

For aspirants preparing for admission, strategic planning is crucial. It is recommended to start studying at least one year in advance, focusing on strengthening weak areas identified through diagnostic tests. Utilize previous years' question papers, mock tests, and online resources to improve speed and accuracy.

Counseling involves filling preferences for branches based on merit rank and seat availability. Candidates must carefully analyze opening and closing ranks from past years to make informed choices. The choice-filling strategy should consider personal interests, career goals, and future job prospects associated with each branch.

Application Process

The application process begins with online registration through the university website. Applicants must fill out a detailed form providing personal information, educational qualifications, contact details, and category details if applicable. After successful submission, applicants receive an acknowledgment receipt containing their unique application number.

Required documents include:

• 10th standard marksheet and certificate
• 12th standard marksheet and certificate
• Passport-size photographs (3 copies)
• Category certificate (if applicable)
• Income certificate (for EWS category)
• Disability certificate (for PwD candidates)
• Birth certificate or age proof
• Transfer certificate from previous school/college

Documents must be uploaded in PDF format with file sizes not exceeding 5 MB. All certificates should be attested by the competent authority and verified by the university during the document verification stage.

Examination Pattern

The entrance examination consists of multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and General Aptitude. The exam duration is two hours with 100 questions in total. Each question carries one mark, and there is negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

Physics section includes topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, waves, electromagnetic induction, and modern physics. Chemistry covers organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, and environmental chemistry. Biology focuses on human physiology, genetics, evolution, biodiversity, and ecology.

General aptitude tests problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, spatial visualization, and numerical ability. Questions are designed to evaluate critical thinking and analytical capabilities relevant to physiotherapy practice.

Counseling Procedure

After the declaration of results, candidates who qualify for counseling are invited based on their merit rank. The counseling process involves:

1. Verification of documents submitted during application
2. Payment of counseling fee (INR 10,000)
3. Filling preferences for branches according to available seats
4. Seat allocation based on merit rank and preferences filled
5. Acceptance of allocated seat by paying final fees

Candidates who do not get their preferred branch can opt for the spot round or waitlist option if available. The counseling session is conducted in person at the university campus, ensuring transparency and fairness in the allocation process.
