Fee Components Explained
Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, library access, and administrative services. It is subject to annual revision based on government guidelines.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in shared rooms with basic amenities such as beds, study tables, and wardrobes.
Mess Advance: A fixed advance payment towards meal expenses during the semester. This amount is adjusted at the end of the semester based on actual consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution used for supporting financially disadvantaged students and organizing cultural events.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services provided by the university hospital and emergency healthcare.
Gymkhana Fees: Funds activities related to sports, fitness, and extracurricular pursuits on campus.

Hostel & Mess Charges
The university offers various types of hostels to accommodate students based on their preferences and budget:

- Double Occupancy Room: 12000 INR/month
- Triple Occupancy Room: 10000 INR/month
The mess billing system operates on a monthly basis, with students receiving an advance payment for meals. Rebate policies are available for students who do not consume meals regularly or during vacation periods.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
The university provides financial assistance through various schemes:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible students receive a 50% concession on tuition fees. Additional support is provided for hostel charges.
- EWS Category: A 25% discount on tuition fees and partial relief on hostel rent.
- MCM Category: Full exemption from tuition fees with a nominal charge for hostel accommodation.
Eligibility criteria are based on income slabs, caste certificates, and PwD documentation. Applications must be submitted through the official portal along with supporting documents.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
Payments can be made online via credit/debit cards or net banking. Students are required to complete payment within the first week of each semester.
Late fees are applicable if payments are not made on time:
- For 1-7 days: 500 INR
- For 8-15 days: 1000 INR
- For more than 15 days: 2000 INR
Refunds are processed according to university guidelines in case of withdrawal or transfer. Students must submit a formal application along with supporting documents for consideration.
