Detailed Fee Components Explanation

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, academic resources, laboratory access, and administrative costs. This fee remains consistent throughout the program and is updated annually based on inflation.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in dormitories with shared facilities such as bathrooms, study rooms, and common areas. Room types vary from single occupancy to four-person sharing arrangements.

Mess Advance: A pre-paid amount for meal expenses during the semester. This includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided by the institution's mess service.

Student Benevolent Fund: A fund used for supporting financially disadvantaged students through scholarships, emergency aid, and welfare programs.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services, including consultations with doctors, vaccinations, and medical supplies available on campus.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports physical fitness activities, sports events, and recreational facilities on campus.

Examination Fees: Paid for conducting semester-end examinations, practical assessments, and final evaluations. These fees cover proctoring, evaluation, and result processing.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The hostel accommodations are categorized into different room types based on comfort and amenities:

  • Single Occupancy Rooms: Private rooms with individual beds, wardrobes, and desks. Monthly rent is INR 15000.
  • Double Occupancy Rooms: Shared rooms with two beds, desks, and wardrobes. Monthly rent is INR 12000.
  • Triple Occupancy Rooms: Shared spaces accommodating three students. Monthly rent is INR 10000.
  • Four Occupancy Rooms: Fully shared rooms with four beds and communal facilities. Monthly rent is INR 8000.

The mess system operates on a monthly billing cycle where meals are served three times daily. Students must pay an advance amount for each month, which is adjusted at the end of the month based on actual consumption.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

Financial assistance is available to students meeting specific eligibility criteria:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver for students belonging to these categories. Additional concessions may be granted for tuition fees.
  • EWS Category: 50% concession on tuition fee and full exemption from hostel rent and mess charges.
  • MCM (Meritorious Children of Merit): 75% discount on tuition fees along with partial relief on other charges.

Eligibility is determined based on income slabs, caste certificates, disability documentation, or merit-based academic achievements. Applications must be submitted through the official portal with supporting documents and verification by authorized personnel.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees are to be paid via net banking, credit/debit cards, or bank drafts issued in favor of the institution. Late payments attract a penalty of INR 1000 per day beyond the due date.

If a student withdraws from the program, the refund policy applies as follows:

  • Within First Month: Full refund minus administrative charges.
  • Between One and Three Months: Refund of 80% after deducting applicable fees.
  • Beyond Three Months: No refund will be issued unless justified by unforeseen circumstances like medical emergencies or academic withdrawal.
