Fee Components Explanation
Tuition Fee: Covers academic instruction, laboratory access, and administrative costs. This fee remains consistent across all semesters.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in dormitory-style rooms with shared facilities. Room types vary from single occupancy to triple occupancy.
Mess Advance: Prepaid meal charges covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the semester. Adjustments are made at the end of each month based on actual consumption.
Student Benevolent Fund: Supports students facing financial hardships or emergencies. Contributions are voluntary but encouraged to foster a supportive campus environment.
Medical Fees: Covers basic medical services, including consultations with on-campus doctors and access to emergency care.
Gymkhana Fees: Funds sports activities, fitness programs, and recreational facilities available on campus.
Examination Fees: Includes costs associated with conducting semester-end examinations, evaluation, and result processing.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facility offers comfortable living arrangements with modern amenities such as internet connectivity, Wi-Fi access, study rooms, and laundry services. Room types include single, double, and triple occupancy options:
- Single Occupancy Room: INR 25,000 per semester
- Double Occupancy Room: INR 20,000 per semester
- Triple Occupancy Room: INR 15,000 per semester
The mess system operates on a prepaid model where students pay advance amounts for meals. Monthly adjustments are made based on actual consumption, and any excess or deficit is settled accordingly.
Fee Waivers, Concessions & Scholarships
Several financial aid options are available to eligible students:
- SC/ST/PwD Category: Eligible for 100% fee waiver under government schemes. Income slabs up to INR 4 lakh qualify for partial concessions.
- EWS Category: Receives 50% concession on tuition fees. Income slabs up to INR 8 lakh are considered for eligibility.
- MCM (Minority Community Member): Eligible for 25% fee concession. Income criteria apply similar to EWS category.
Applications for fee waivers and concessions must be submitted through the official portal along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, or disability certificates. The review process typically takes 7-10 working days.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid via online banking, debit/credit cards, or NEFT transfers to the designated university account. Late payments incur a penalty of INR 500 per day until clearance.
In case of withdrawal from the program, students can apply for refunds within 15 days of registration. The refund policy deducts administrative charges and fees already incurred during the semester. Refunds are processed within 30 working days after submission of all required documents.
