Detailed Fee Components
Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, curriculum materials, and administrative costs. The fee includes access to all library resources, labs, and faculty support services.
Hostel Rent: Provides accommodation for students residing off-campus. Rooms are shared with 2-4 students, offering amenities such as Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, and 24/7 security.
Mess Advance: Prepaid meal plan covering three meals per day. The mess offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options to cater to diverse dietary preferences.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small contribution towards maintaining campus infrastructure, student welfare programs, and emergency assistance funds.
Medical Fees: Covers medical consultations, first aid, and basic healthcare services provided by the campus health center.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports activities, gymnasium maintenance, and recreational events organized on campus.
Examination Fees: Covers examination scheduling, evaluation, result processing, and certification costs.
Hostel & Mess Charges
The hostel facilities at Government Polytechnic Bazpur are designed to provide a comfortable living environment for students. There are different room types available:
- Single Room: ₹10,000/month (limited availability)
- Double Room: ₹8,000/month
- Triple Room: ₹7,000/month
- Four-Bedded Room: ₹6,000/month
The mess billing system is managed through a smart card-based system that deducts charges from the prepaid account. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner with seasonal variations in menu.
Rebate policies are applicable for students during vacation periods, with full refunds processed upon departure. Additional charges apply for late checkout or extra room usage.
Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships
We provide fee waivers and concessions to eligible students based on income slabs and category-wise reservations:
- SC/ST/PwD (General): 100% waiver
- EWS: 50% concession
- MCM (Minority Community): 25% concession
Application for financial aid must be submitted during the admission process with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates.
Payment Procedures & Refund Policy
All fees must be paid online via net banking or credit/debit cards. Payment deadlines are strictly enforced to avoid late fees:
- Late Fee: ₹500 per day for overdue payments
- Refund Policy: Refunds are processed within 15 working days of withdrawal, subject to deduction of applicable charges.
Students who wish to withdraw from the program must submit a formal application along with necessary documentation. The refund amount is calculated based on the number of months completed and any outstanding dues.
