Tuition Fee: Covers classroom instruction, faculty salaries, and academic resources. This fee is revised annually based on government guidelines and inflation.
Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus-hostels with shared facilities like common rooms, laundry services, and 24/7 security. Room types include single, double, and triple occupancy options.
Mess Advance: A monthly advance payment for meals provided by the university's catering service. The mess operates on a prepaid system where students receive monthly bills based on usage.
Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution that supports students facing financial hardships, scholarships, and campus welfare activities.
Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services provided by the university's medical center, including consultations, diagnostic tests, and emergency care.
Gymkhana Fees: Supports sports and recreational activities organized by the student union, including fitness facilities, inter-college tournaments, and cultural events.
Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting internal and external examinations, including invigilation, evaluation, and result processing.
The hostel accommodation is categorized into three types: Single Occupancy (INR 10,000/month), Double Occupancy (INR 8,000/month), and Triple Occupancy (INR 6,000/month). Each room comes equipped with a bed, study table, chair, and wardrobe.
Mess charges are calculated based on consumption and vary between INR 12,000 and 15,000 per semester. Students can opt for different meal plans including vegetarian, non-vegetarian, or hybrid options. Rebates are available for students who stay in hostels for the entire academic year.
Financial assistance is provided through various schemes:
Applications for fee waivers must be submitted along with supporting documents such as income certificates, caste certificates, and disability certificates. The process is reviewed by the financial aid committee every semester.
Fees must be paid before the start of each semester, with a grace period of one week. Late payments attract a penalty of 5% per month on outstanding dues. Students can make payments through online portals, bank transfers, or cash at designated counters.
In case of withdrawal from the program, refunds are processed according to the following policy:
Refunds are typically credited within 30 working days after submission of all required documents and approval from the concerned authorities.
