Detailed Explanation of Each Fee Component

Tuition Fee: Covers instruction, laboratory sessions, and access to academic resources. The fee is fixed annually and adjusted based on inflation rates.

Hostel Rent: Includes accommodation in campus hostels with basic amenities such as bedding, furniture, and utilities.

Mess Advance: Advance payment for meals provided by the campus mess facility, covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Student Benevolent Fund: A small annual contribution used to support students facing financial difficulties or emergencies.

Medical Fees: Covers basic healthcare services available on campus including consultations and minor treatments.

Gymkhana Fees: Supports recreational activities, sports facilities, and cultural events on campus.

Examination Fees: Covers costs associated with conducting internal assessments, practical exams, and external evaluations.

Hostel & Mess Charges

The campus offers various types of hostels catering to different needs:

  • AC Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹2500/month
  • Non-AC Single Occupancy Rooms: ₹1500/month
  • AC Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹3000/month
  • Non-AC Double Occupancy Rooms: ₹2000/month

Mess billing follows a monthly system with fixed charges for each meal. Students are required to make advance payments, which are adjusted at the end of the month based on actual consumption.

Rebate policies allow students from economically weaker backgrounds to receive partial or full waivers depending on income slabs and family size. Students must submit relevant documentation to qualify for these rebates.

Fee Waivers, Concessions, and Scholarships

The university provides several financial aid options:

  • SC/ST/PwD Category: Full fee waiver applicable to students from reserved categories. Income slabs must be below ₹3 lakhs annually.
  • EWS Category: 50% fee concession for students from economically weaker sections with annual income below ₹10 lakhs.
  • MCM (Meritorious Children of Migrant Workers): 50% fee waiver for children of migrant workers with annual income below ₹5 lakhs.

Applications for financial aid are submitted online through the official portal. Required documents include income certificates, caste certificates, and Aadhaar card details. Approval is typically processed within two weeks.

Payment Procedures & Refund Policy

All fees must be paid by the specified deadlines to avoid late fees. Late payments incur a penalty of ₹500 per day until cleared.

If a student withdraws from the program, refunds are processed according to a strict timeline:

  • Withdrawal within 15 days: Full refund minus administrative charges
  • Withdrawal between 16-30 days: Refund of 70% after deducting administrative fees
  • Withdrawal beyond 30 days: No refund unless approved by the administration

The refund process is completed within 45 working days from the date of withdrawal application. Students must submit a written request along with original receipts and supporting documents.
